Trip to Sesame Place

Below is our trip to Sesame Place... Kayla had such a great time on the rides and the water park. Her favorite part was definitely watching Elmo Live. She was a little young for some of the attractions but nonetheless, we had a blast!

It was about time that we did something to get the hair out of Miss Kayla's face. She did fairly well considering it was a new experience... Thank god for DVD's and small TV's!

Jersey Girls hit the Beach

As I mentioned in a prior post, Kayla LOVES hanging out with her buddy Maddie... so since Maddie spends the summer down the beach, we decided to take a trip to visit her and get Kayla some beach time this summer. The first thing we learned, Kayla is not a fan of SAND or WAVES... We wiped out a few times and then gave up on the water. She is very interested in the waves but once she is in the water... not happy. She was more happy chasing Maddie (and vice versa) back and forth on the sand! They loved to wander off too! I think she will love the boardwalk when we take her later in the summer! We headed back to the house for lunch, showers, more swimming... then painting and movietime!

The Bronx Zoo - Sony Day

We thought it would be even more fun this time since Kayla was older to take her to the Bronz Zoo for Sony Day. She had SO much fun... mostly b/c she was allowed to run around a bunch since it was not super crowded. We first tackled the Monorail (with the backpack -- which is such a great purchase if you have the money)... then Mommy ran back to the car to switch to the jogging stroller for the remainder of the day. Here are some highlights of our fantastic day!

The result of a VERY fun day at the Bronx Zoo!

Happy Birthday America!

Happy July 4th everyone! Our day was filled with lots of fun! A visit to Turtle Back Zoo WITH Daddy (who is not a fan of the zoo).... then we headed to Uncle Kevin & Aunt Angie's for some pool time and food! Kayla missed the fireworks b/c of bedtime... we will keep her up next year for sure!
