What does Cookie Monster do?

At a recent lunch outing with my best friend Melissa, we were asking Kayla who each of the Sesame Street characters on her placemat were... when we got to Cookie Monster.... she DID what Cookie Monster does. Here we are trying to show Daddy!

Climbing Bear - Part 2

It seems that Kayla will be following in the footsteps of her Daddy... although doing such at a much earlier age than he was. She is climbing on everything! Hey at least she is chewing on stuff a little less... But now I can't even go into the kitchen without finding her on top of the coffee table. It's truly only a matter of time before she realizes that she can pull her rocking horse over to the gate and try to climb over THAT!

Someone else's Neice!

Excited fills the Wilson family once again! Kayla will be getting a NEW Aunt very soon.

Well Uncle Denny finally proposed to his girlfriend so now Kayla is gonna get a new Aunt!

Happy Halloween

Boy how things have changed over the past year... This year Kayla had so much fun on Halloween... Although by the end of the night we thought she was a little more tramaized than we had expected. We had dinner at Grandma & Grandpa's so we went trick or treating there and got to hand out candy! It was a long day - with only one nap... but it was a nice night b/c we got to sleep ALL night :)

Family Pumpkin Picking

We decided to take Kayla to pick out her own pumpkin this year since she is walking and has a mind of her own! We just went to a local place (yes it's the same place FOWE went to). She had so much fun running around to pick out the BIG pumpkin that she ended up picking two out. She decided that there needed to be one at Grandma & Grandpa's since we are spending Halloween there!

1st Eating Out - Big Girl Style!

Since Kayla is eating more and more big people food every day, we decided to take her to Friendly's for lunch. Although we brought "back-up" food for her (the stuff she is used to eating at home) we ordered her macaroni & cheese with Hot dogs.... We could not believe that she ate half the macaroni and cheese and the ENTIRE hot dog! She had a blast. NO ice cream this time... maybe next time.

FOWE Fall Outing

We joined a local Mommy's group about a year ago called FOWE (Friends of West Essex). So far its really been great! We have both made some great friends - who I think will be around for many years to come! We go on "outing's" with the children once a month... We have playgroups once a week (when we can make it)... We even have Ladies Night Out events where the mom's get to hang without the kids. It's all quite fun!

Last week we took the kids to a local farm for a fun afternoon. They had a big activity tent with tons of things the kids could have fun with... Then we went on a hayride ... Then there was some pumpkin picking (but since Daddy was not with us we could only get a baby pumpkin).
